Having received feedback that there is a lack of participation opportunity across Merseyside for females, Merseyside Basketball Development Officer Felicity Vaughan has organized a Women's Day at Greenbank Sports Academy on March 20.

 

The event will be an opportunity for all females to attend and take part in a fun day that will involve a drill session and then games. It is hoped that the event will be a catalyst to creating a women's league over the summer months.

 

Whether you are currently playing, have played previously and dropped out or are just looking to try a new sport, the day will be for you. The event will be free of charge and will start at 1pm.
